A walk along the river
We go exploring along a path we have never taken before, following the natural curve of the Yarra River. Along the way we find oaks of different varieties and stop to take a pic. One little acorn.

From little things, big things grow...
So, it's been a long time coming. Friends and family have been encouraging me to set up a blog for ages now. You know how it is - there is always something else to fill the time. Many other things that have to be done. Things for other people. Jobs to do. Work. Rest. Play. And then there are always the internal hurdles...
It so happens the name was a major hurdle. It had to be original, but it also had to mean something. And then (by chance) I stumbled upon it. Little Acorn. It seemed fitting. It showed hope and potential and the opportunity to grow. And then, as it was all about me, it was a logical move to name my blog - one little acorn.
So welcome, these are my daily thoughts and observations about the world around me. Nothing too mind blowing, but a chance to write and create and in doing so, another way to live life more creatively. Creative living, I think, is what life is all about. It brings me pleasure through simple things.
As philosophy is teaching me, it is about the pursuit of happiness. This is not at the expense of anyone else. In fact it is important that all may be happy... but happiness is ultimately what we should all be hoping to achieve.
And so, from little things, big things grow... may the journey begin.
