Wow! Now I understand why my bag feels so heavy! And having taken the shot, I realised I hadn't even included my mobile phone or my second (yes SECOND!) set of house keys!
So here it is... the contents of my handbag...
2 sets of "paint your own" Russian Matryoshka nesting dolls!
1 lipgloss and 3 lipsticks - crazy really for a girl who barely wears makeup, and certainly not on a daily basis!
3 purses - one for all my 'normal' purse 'stuff', one for change (that doen't fit in purse no.1) and the third for my Canon IXUS camera which I carry everywhere.
A badge (which I made myself) which is intended to remind me to seriously consider setting up an ETSY store...
A print out of business cards I am mocking up for my cousin's massage business... and a blank CD...
A packet of magnets along with a few cardboard disks to be covered and stuck on my fridge...
A gift voucher for a Thai cooking class which I am taking this Thursday at Pip's Cooking School...
A pay-slip, a travel pass, a few loose coins, and a few hair clips...
The inevitable 3 pens, tissues and my car key...
Yes, there is some needlepoint I started yesterday...
Oh, and 2 diaries... one a daily planner and the second my creative journal...
Phew! I think that's it - I have given myself a bit of a headache! Luckily I have a few Aspro and Panadol close at hand!
The subject for this weeks "This is..." was suggested by Sharon from Iris & Lily.
The "This is..." meme started with the very creative Angela of Three Buttons fame.

I love your little red change purse. It's very sweet. I got my smencil when I joined Brown Owls. It smells like cookie dough!
Gosh....that's quite impressive. I love taking photos but I wouldn't carry my huge camera everywhere.
Thanks for sharing the contents of your handbag with us :)
Wow! That bag must be heavy! I just love that you're carrying around nesting dolls ;)
hihi nice to know there are more people out there who carry loads of stuff around, thank you so much for sharing!xoxo
hahaha - my bag is like that - full of junk, and weighs a ton!!!!! I have one of those car keys as well...good choice of car (fab aren't they?!)
Just so eveyone knows, these are the contents of the *second* handbag to have to carry this load. The first one couldn't cope and was returned for the reinforced version! :)
You must have two cameras to take a picture of your camera!
My Canon IXUS travels with me too but in a really butch man-bag of course!
Wow, your purse contents look very creative and heavy!
Glad I'm not the only one with lots of stuff. Can I ask where you got the paint your own Matryoshka dolls
hi, thanks for leaving a kind comment on my blog! Your handbag is certainly full, I'm glad I'm not the only one that carries around spools of thread!
: )
Boy are you prepared--I love how eclectic your contents are...nesting dolls & magnets! What a great meme, hope you don't mind if I play along eventually--first the contents of my drab bag & then I'll link to yours, what a real purse should be full of :)
I just saw once-blank nesting dolls on another site - semi-x-rated. I had no idea you could get blank ones.
I used to cart this much stuff till my almost 40 co-worker got serious neck and shoulder issues from same.
We saw the light.
You have such wonderful handbag contents. And a great blog too. I've had a lovely visit through all your posts.
I love seeing what people carry in their handbags. It is almost like little pieces of their soul.
Oh my - that's some interesting gear you carry about..I'm curious about where to find the unpainted nesting dolls too!? How could you ever get bored if you were stuck in a lift ;)
very interesting handbag fare, I'd like to live the life of this handbag owner, it looks like lots of fun!
I thought that your bag looked relatively organized. I have about 80 bags or maybe more (a friend gave me 40 for my 40th birthday!) . About 10 are in current rotation and most of them are full of an assortment of interesting bits and pieces before I even get to putting in the essentials. Mind you changing bags does lend itself to a clean out once and a while, revealing an assortment of interesting , forgotten beads and lost visual diaries complete with kids drawings from a lifetime ago when they were 4!
