Dance a little...

Celebrate people - it's nearly the week-end.
It's time to dance...

As written in The Age

...A goofy dance started in a Brisbane office block has taken the world by storm and its creator, Matthew Harding, to the four corners of the globe and most places in between.

Harding, 31, is the latest internet celebrity to ride YouTube fame all the way to the bank, but, unlike the transient notoriety most web video stars enjoy, Harding's 15 minutes of fame have been going on for three years.

Over the past 14 months, Harding and his girlfriend have been on a tour to 42 countries for the sole purpose of filming him dancing badly at various international locations and in front of some of the world's most famous landmarks.

The result is a 4½-minute video clip, published at the end of last month, which has already attracted more than 6.5 million views on YouTube and more than 1.5 million views on Vimeo.

I actually did a little dance yesterday in the tax office. I got significantly more back than expected leaving me with enough to enjoy my holiday in Melbourne without worry. As I got into the car I realised that I actually physically did a jig. I felt a little foolish actually but I couldn't help it!

Thank you so much for sharing this - I LOVE it. The joy of watching it almost brought tears to my eyes. I love that it reminds me of how everywhere in the world there are people willing to get up and dance together with a stranger just for the sheer hilarity of it. I love what that says about humanity. Wow. This made me cry. I guess daggy dancing is a universal language!! I've seen his old one, where he is just dancing on his own. It was very amusing, but something about so many people all over the world getting up to dance with him in this one is very touching.

Now that has put a smile on my face! I came across Matt a year or so ago on Youtube and just loved his earlier video, but this one is even better. It's great seeing so many people getting up and dancing with him. It was also great to read more about him and how he has managed to go to so many places.

A friend told me about this clip today, she was just so animated with delight as she described it. Then I forgot all about it...until now!
Yep, I've teared up with a goofy grin on my face. You just can't disguise joy.
